The Importance of knowing “Emergency Services Numbers” can never be stressed enough and results from a Survey that I’ve conducted recently (posted on facebook & twitter) on emergency numbers awareness showed that 90% of the respondents knew the Police number, 68% an Ambulance number, 37% the Fire Brigade & 30% Sui Gas helpline.
Therefore to help you out I’ve compiled the list for Karachi, Lahore & Islamabad and will be sharing for Peshawar, Quetta, Multan, Faisalabad & Sialkot in the days ahead.
Print this out and keep a copy on your fridge, in your office, in the car, or wherever you will find it with ease. You never know when you may need it. Make sure all family members know them as well and train children to direct others to this sheet.
*DISCLAIMER The numbers have been obtained through open source publications in various media & websites of the organisations.
